Me: sipping a homemade pumpkin spiced latte - last week I cleared out my closet. I just bought a new burgundy bag for work and a new planner. I just sat down and planned my September and booked *all the fun things* with my friends cos I'm a teacher I need to get through this month after a gloriously free summer. Red is my favourite album and I listen to it every autumn (All Too Well, obvs but also State of Grace 🫶🏻) - usually whilst wearing my TS Red scarf and wearing uggs. I have read every single book on the recs list (and I teach bell hooks 😍).
Hannah - you are the most comforting best-friend I didn’t even know I had! It’s like you see into my soul and pull out the lurking thoughts that I haven’t yet made it to my conscience. Thank you, thank you, thank you 🫶🏻🍂🎃
Absolutely loved this Hannah- September feels more like a new year to me than January and your article just got me so excited for this new season ❤️❤️❤️
You made me look forward to September and fall in a way I hadn't since I was in school looking forward to new school supplies and wearing my fall outfits!
I feel like Buffy the vampire slayer and charmed are also cool fall shows. Don't ask me why...
Loved this Hannah, I woke up this morning and my mind felt so calm. I really love autumn and how life slows down. To add to your recipes, I suggest you also look up Taylor Swifts chai cookie recipe! 🍪🍂
I loved this article. Lit girl fall is such a great name. I need to watch Sleepless in Seattle, now that I live an hour's drive away from the city. 😂 Also, Gossip Girl is so good and I agree that watching You right after is the way to go.
your newsletters make me warm inside, and this one is particularly my favorite.
i have a goal of tasting wines this fall, and also staying consistent with trying new things, and exploring more because as a home gal, i need to see the outside world more.
this newsletter makes me feel so happy and cosy in the way watching Gilmore girls does
I’ve been wanting to comment something but then I saw yours and I was like YES THIS IS EXACTLY how I feel after reading!! 💖
This newsletter made me absolutely giddy for fall. If I could, I'd give you a bouquet of sharpened pencils in thanks.

"[W]rite a letter to your future self. I want you to put it on the fridge, and set the ‘open’ date to January, 2025."
There isn't a BIG difference between this and a quarterly review -- but somehow there's significantly more magic in it.

This is the best thing I’ve read in a long time, thank you, Hannah!
